This esteemed root is famous for its incredible anti-inflammatory effect, which comes from a chemical component called curcuminoids. This property means it soothes inflammation in all the tissues, including the digestive tract and even the subtle body. Used both internally as a spice and medicine, and externally to soothe skin irritations and pain. Ironically, although Turmeric is frequently used to dye materials and can even discolor the skin temporarily, it actually helps whiten teeth and is extremely beneficial for our oral health.
