Psyllium husk is one of TA's favorite herbs for healthy and satisfying elimination. The husks swell in the colon, absorbing bacteria and toxins, and ferry them out of the body in a satisfyingly full movement. Rather than just a bulking fiber, though, Psyllium acts more like a skeleton for the stool. Take with plenty of water to make sure you get that desired action. Useful for both constipation and loose stools!
