The three seeds inside the Cardamom pod are dried, for anywhere from one day to many days, and crushed to make this powder. Its distinct flavor is used frequently in Middle Eastern and Scandinavian cuisines and as an addition to coffee, as it neutralizes some of the acidity of that beloved beverage. It is also a wonderful digestive aid, increasing the digestive fire and clearing excess mucus out of the GI tract, while also not activating high Pitta.
